Question: Is Jesus’ Name in the Old Testament?
Interestingly, yes; Joshua, is the Hebrew of Jesus!
Interesting because Joshua led the Jews into “the Promised Land” after their 40 years of forced wandering in the desert; because of their sin of not trusting God’s entrée into the Land after the “spy expedition”, they were forced into a state of unrest and trouble in their wanderings, and the main rebels died prior to its end!
The Jews at present do not acknowledge or accept Jesus as Messiah, and are subject to the condition of “Lo-Ammi”, (which is rejection by God temporarily, as per the first time in the desert of Sinai ), until HE will Save them into the original Promised Land, as depicted in Ezek. 39:21–29, and elsewhere in the Bible!
That event will not happen until after those of Zech.12:10!
